Such a let down Cant even play the game without a load screen longer than starfield …… i dont get it man gaming is dead . Devs cant even be bothered to fix the LITTEST problems that would bring more fresh air into the game rather than some free dlc .

Its not a game problem

Its an installation problem.

Try a fresh install, make sure you nuke every FO4 folder you have, even the appdata/local one.

With an update like this one, a fresh install should be considered mandatory.

Bruh i ddint have fallout on my pc till the day the update came out. An my only complaint is long load times…. Which yall can b.s all u want but everyone is experiencing this. U need load accelerator to fix this issue. Not to mention Ipresent interval is completely broken. My game is capped at 83 fps but when i turn my nv control panel vsync on i get 165+
So yeah its the game…..

Yeah long load time seem to be a really common one. The fix I'm seeing for that is a nexus mod for helping load times, I dont know the name. Its not "really" a mod, but a tweak to the .ini that lets the game use all your available cores. I found turning off "Save on travel" helps somewhat as well.

It's not a problem with your computer, it's a problem with the game. The loading screen is tied to the FPS rate.... Yeah... it's insane.. but there's a way around it.

This mod lets your loading screen run at max FPS making the game load in seconds suddenly. Just copy both files into the directory fallout4.exe is located and you're golden!

bro you don't overclock to run fallout...you UC I got my processor at 85% max power plan and low 30% min processor is set to aggressive aggressive and I use BES.exe Battle Encoder Shinrase. from GITHUB and then I min processor usuage on Explorer 33 percent pretty much these processes on WIN 11. Runtime Broker, Steam, Steam App Helpers. 30-33% and i run my game at high settings low shadows and all extra 5 details set to off my ini shows those things anyway on high. I run FALLOUT4 at 1.7ghz 16 threads hexcore msi raider ge75 gaming laptop 0 lag b4 update lightning quick loading screen about 100 mods mostly gun and game balancing mods. I suffered no problems until this update now my game crashes every 5 mins i have to do a fresh install NOT HAPPY!

I did a fresh install and just loaded mine from the cloud and everything was good to go

I had one corrupted save when i started up the game for the first time on my new pc with this new update.

my MSI Afterburner is UC at about 100mhz which when set changes my 2.2GHZ hex core 16 threat processor to a 20 thread 1.7ghz tweaked hexcore which has more performance with BES enabled than my stock 2.2 100% processor and my processor heat instead of around 95C if you do all that i said when in the open world of modded fallout your temps should be max 56C. if not you need to lower you settings 48-49C is my lowest core processor temp.
