Next Gen Patch made Tina De Luca ugly
I mean, she's just an NPC so whatever. But I remembered her as being the prettiest female NPC in the entire game. Now she looks.. well.. let's just say she aged like 50 years or so since the day before the patch. She is by far the ugliest person in the entire game. If you look at her from the side she even has two different face textures, the old one and the new one. It's like the new face was just put over the old one. Really odd.

And now I just wonder: Why? :D Did Bethesda really decide to make her so ugly no one wants to recruit her instead of.. you know.. fix the bug that makes it impossible to recruit her?

Classic Bethesda move. Smells a bit like an SB inc. move though.

And no, I'm not mad. I just noticed it in Vault 81 and thought I'd make some fun of it, because it's just such a ridiculous change. This is just weird to me. Does anyone know if this is a Bethesda made change? Or is it related to that trashy and low quality creation club content we are not forced to play when booting up the game?

But if you google "tina de luca next gen patch" in the picture search you should see some screenshots someone posted on Reddit. Within the first 5 results, 3 of the screenshots show Tina de Granny.

Her face has different tone than the rest of her head, it's obviously a bug. Since they touched her though I suspect they fixed the Dependency bug where you couldn't recruit her?

I don't know. I don't want that face in my settlement so I did not even try to get past that charisma check :D

Of all things to complain about. "This NPC got uglier!" lmao

I'm going to google her now... see what the fuss is about.

The fallout merchant. Yeah, I remember her, she's not too bad. I'll spawn her in and see. Omg! Yeah they messed her up bad, super bad! OP wasn't joking.

in game bring up your console and put this in:

If you're talking about what I think you are, then this isn't just a bug with the next gen patch. Tina De Luca has had a bug associated with her for a long time apparently that swaps her actual face with the face of another NPC by the name of Dr. Penske and turns her brown. It is very unfortunate and ugly.

That would be the blackface bug. It comes from using texture mods improperly or running out of video memory (due to the leak in shadowing.)

Not a bug, this is new woke policy. Every color, race, gender, and disability has to be fairly represented so they put all the above into one person to save time.

I'm not using any texture mods and am definitely not running out of video memory, post #7 got it right, she bears a resemblance to Dr. Penske. though I've never seen this bug til now. looks like they done goofed.

Either way it is an obvious bug that the drama queens are turning into a woke racial diversity issue.

What next? Claim KLEO is woke? When KLEO existed long before the "woke thing became a thing.

I also have this bug, It appears that her face has been swapped with Dr. Penske (also in Vault 81) I haven't been able to find a fix yet either.

I haven't seen any indication that it's a bug. To me, it looks like someone puts masks on Tina and the doctor.

It's quite striking. What a strange thing to happen to a very beautiful npc.

I also haven't seen this on any other faces anywhere.

If I had to guess, I'd say someone at Bethesda modelled Tina after their girlfriend, and then after a bad break-up, this happened... lol

Kidding aside, is Tina DeLuca based on some celebrity I don't know about? Maybe they had to change her for legal reasons?

Sure is weird whatever it is.
