Yes... Nexus has an updated Down grade patcher now. Or you can do the Steam console trick to grab the older repo.

But if you mean a patch to keep the current version but fix new bugs that will be awhile F4SE will take some time to update and the Unofficial patch will take a bit longer to update.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's an update or two later. They updated Skyrim AE a few times, if memory serves.

Go to the Nexus FO4 main page, there are already multiple updates with detailed instruction on how to revert your game back to previous version so it function properly.

I set my update preferences for the game to only update when I launch the game, and just use Vortex to launch the game. It doesnt start the update but still launches the game, and I can get on Fallout 4 with all of my mods and everything still in working order.

I think Silverlock is waiting to hear if there is going to be a patch for the bug introduction / Performance de-optimization before they due there patch at which time every moder can then fix their mods.

So give it some time, could b e a month before you can play FO4 again (if you are on PC). I do not use a box so I do not know if their versions are working or not. Also keep a eye out for mods to fix the bugs that Betheseda is introducing. I think I might just try and roll back the game version (got up and the game was already patched) so i can play while I wait for the fixes.

I tried to play a full vanilla (new Game) and after about 3 hours I was finally out of Sanctuary. I rushed it to get rid of preston. So I will never have to step foot near him again. They 5 minute load times are just to much of a pain.
