Also, never keep heavily modded games on auto update on Steam, as it will cause issues with your mods. It's better to wait a week or two until all the modders have updated their stuff.
You wanna go Nexus, not CC for mods. But WAIT. The new patch will have screwed up most mods. You need to wait till Mods catch up and make it work which will take anything from a day for some Modders to maybe a week or two to maybe never for others. Check if the Mod is compatible before grabbing it every time. Modders are just ordinary guys with a life, so we can't demand of them.
We can demand of Bethesda though since they took our money!
Both can interface with Nexusmods.
Be sure to launch Fallout 4 once beforehand, because it needs to prepare a few files it does on first launch. After that, F4SE becomes the launcher for modded play.
Thanks.
I still don't know where I want to go with the mods, but mostly looking for more content to add to the game in terms of quests, people and locations (both settlements or otherwise).
I know I picked a hell of a time to move to PC, but I am in the hopes of playing Fallout London once it comes out. Besides, the entire GOTY was pretty cheap.
I need to see whats working, but no rush.
If that one works now
I'll take whatever is working.
