locked at 48 fps AMD

Hi,

does anyone know how to unlock the fps, it is locked to 48fps. Fullscreen, widescreen 2k resolution

go to amd settings, fallout 4 profile and put Vsync(Wait for vertical refresh) on Always Disabled

2. Edit Fallout4Prefs
3. Set iPresentInterval=2
4. idk how to do it in AMD but you'll have to use their control panel and cap the FPS for fallout 4 to 60fps

I'm assuming I can just set it higher if I wanted too? I have a 145hz display so would like to use it.

Same thing on a Gtx 1650 ti locked at 48 fps before and after next gen Patch Vanilla Fallout 4 no Mods on a 144 Hertz Laptop Monitor

Hmmm, another thing you can try after reverting the change in the ini file, is to manually change the refreshrate of your monitor to 60hz in windows. i used to have to do that.

Is there any way to cap the fps to 60 for amd? I disabled Vsync through AMD Adrenalin but then my game was running at like 200+ fps and the game's physics just broke, everything was happening blazing fast. I found a mod to fix this problem but ofc newest bethesda patch just broke it all (:

I just tried the change of refreshrate of my monitor to 60hz and it work...60fps locked and stable.

before this, i've tried fallout4.prefs ini trick, force vync on gpu and cpu driver panel, etc etc and didnt work..
