No Aim Assist with Controller?
Now before people come here trying to tell me how superior m/k is... just don't... I'm not using a controller when I'm at my desk... duh.

I'm talking when I'm on my couch and big screen tv. There I play with controller via remote play. In FO76, there is a very capable aim assist. But I don't see it in Fo4. Is that normal? Is there any setting or option hidden somewhere I missed?

Thanks.

There is no aim assist in FO4, never has, never will be.

VATS exists for that very reason

What did I expect asking a simple question... anything other than toxicity?

I know there is Vats. But it's not the same. Also, with m/k it's like you have a aimbot, too. So what's the issue with having aim assist for controller, like fo76. Stop thinking outside of your little toxic bubble, lol.

There actully IS... a aim bot included with games like these, if there wasent, you woilden't be able to hit anything.. It's heavily weighted, so u don't really miss when u free fire..

The same go's for Space Sims, again, heavily weighted, so u can actually hit the ship... :-) Even COD has some level of "aim assist" built in...

There doesn't seem to be any kind of assist for controller here.

It's there trust me, most likely it's coz FO4 was never meant for controller use on the PC.. Even so the aim assist is very subtle, and built into the game.

How... because if you don't out the crosshair exactly over an enemy, you'll miss... there is no snapping or bullets changing directions or anything. So I am not sure what you're on about lol.

I'm not surprised, people play games, they don't want to know whats behind the game. :rfg: It's nothing to do with "snapping" or "bullets curving", and it's not excatly, aim assist, it's "weighted" by the formula they use to determine fire arm ballistics.

As i said it's very subtle, and wrote into the code it's self, I'm sure there's experts out there who can explain it better, I suggest Youtube. GL in ya search..
Skill issue.

He thinks people are being toxic for telling him to use VATS. Plus, he needs aim assistance because aiming is soooo hard.... This is more than just a skill issue.

Are you stupid or just not old enough to read?

Dude, why? Why? I don't care about bullet physics and all that stuff. I don't need a calculator to help me with shooting something 10 m in front of me. It's about that contrary to mouse and keyboard with its "point and click to kill" aiming, which is way worse than any aim assist can possibly be, playing with controller feels very sluggish when it comes to gun-play, because there is no aim assist, i.e. something that will help you put the cross-hair on a target, if you are slightly off. But people seem just to be too stupid to understand that nuance it seems. The Internet is toxic, what a surprise, I know...

Chill, no need to rant at me, I've explained it as best i can, as best as i understand it, by your first few lines of text, i can tell, you don't understand, which is why I suggested Youtube, usely i say "Don't use Youtube for research" but in this case go for it.
