I managed to successfully bar the update!
So, I need some help preventing the update so that I can carry on with my current load order. First, does this game have some form of drm? I presume it has steamworks. Second, knowing it's highly likely the steam drm is involved, how do I use the appmanifest to trick steam into thinking I updated? I remember reading about it some time ago, but never got to trying it. I also do not feel like using the depot method, as I've heard that can be nasty to set up and execute.

Third, some one fill me in on the juice! A simple summary will suffice.

Thank you in advance!

Holy sh** that was fast! Thanks man!
If your update has not run and you dont want it then:
Before you enable your internet connection

Go to
C Drive
Go to
Program files X86
Go to
Steam
Go to
Steamapps
Find appmanifest377160.acf
Right Click
Set as "read only"

This is what I did and it worked for me (in combination with Steam updates "on start only" and then only use F4se to start.
But I understand that this is the version file and if set to read only it should block updates.

The other way to block updates needs you to be logged into Steam and that would defeat the purpose and the update might start right as u are changing your settings.

EDIT: Looks like a guy beat me to it HaHa! :D
