Why doesn't F4 GOTY say so in your steam library? why doesn't it show you own the previous dlc?

title. if you own the GOTY edition it simply says "fallout 4" and then when you go to the store page is says you own fallout 4 and the high rez pack.

Why doesn't it say you own the dlc and why isn't f4 listed as f4 goty edition in steam library?

now i have to refund the goty edition to see if i already had the dlc before i bought it cause it didn't say i owned the DLC before buying the GOTY (same price as season pass)

bethesda and valve combined are equally the worse companies out there.

goty isn't a game title, it's a bundle

Why doesn't it say you own the dlc

It does tell you if you own them, it would show as owned on the store page and also a warning that you won't get duplicates when buying the package.

Because GOTY edition for this is a package not a game title, you can view all your DLC in the steam library

game doesn't have to win goty to have a goty edition

Do you know how many companies give out awards each year? You probably don't even pay attention to them all. Fallout 4 won:

Don't think I've ever seen it called that unless it actually won that title; but it's often from some obscure magazine or website. Like Hitman won GOTY in 2016 from Giant Bomb while most of the major award sites gave it to either Overwatch or Uncharted 4
