All Hallows eve signal bug

I ran into a bug, were the mysterious signal in the quest is silent and the quest can not progress. Other people have had the same issue and apparently the fix is to start the quest the second the update is installed on a save. Lucky for me I didn't know this and continued with the main quest anyway saving the new stuff for later, now I can't play the quest. Does anyone else know a work around? Or should I hope for bethesda to fix this?

Bethesda needs to fix this. This is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you force everyone to download your patch and creation club items without giving anyone an option. Its like if someone was giving out free samples and you said not thanks, but they force it on you against your will. I don't have a problem with creation club as long as it remains optional, but forcing it on players is screwed up.

I put up a post: but all you gotta do it go to the location. (Harbormaster Hotel) in order to "start" the quest. I got locked out too. At least it wasn't hard locked.

When you enter the hotel, should be the first door on your left. Doing it ATM so it should work. It does however suck when things aren't working as intended. GL out there.

Same for me, it’s completely silent. I’ve been listening to it while doing other quests in the update in the hopes something will happen but now I’m aware it’s just bugged. Shame.

You could always do "setstage ccFSVFO4007_Quest 20" in console and it will point you straight to the hotel.

Or just move to the hotel where it automatically terminates the singal-quest and progresses to the next step.

Nope, quest is dead. Went to Hotel, nothing, still telling me to listen to signal.

Nope, quest is dead. Went to Hotel, nothing, still telling me to listen to signal.
