Crashing during prologue

Almost approaching the creek, game crashes. No warning, no stutter, just gone. No mods installed, just a pure install.

Anyone else?

Same issue here. When I pass the couple arguing over taking the suitcase it crashes.

Okay, this is going to sound weird, but I'll bet money issue has to do with having weapons debris on. It's a known issue with RTX cards.

They still haven't fixed it. Many here will share their opinions on that if you ask,
but the basics are when you start up the game, go into your graphics settings, and turn off the checkbox.

Specifically, the option is in the loader prior to starting the game, not the game itself.

Fixed mine, in options when you start it, turn off weapon debris, and go from ultra to high.
Worked like a charm.

Yeah the weapon debris thing worked no crash so far

Weapon debris problem was reportedly fixed in Next Gen Update and not causing crashes anymore on RTX cards.

At the same time, players reporting that even with next gen update and weapon debris ON their game is crashing on RTX cards. Go figure...
