NextGen Update Ok..... Missing HD textures???

Downloaded the 14 GB update, launched the game, why does the add-on in the main menu say that HD Textures are coming soon????

yes, and motion blur is still active even after turning it off in the luncher options

Why would you use the "HD textures"? Have you seen any videos about it? its like 1% better graphics for an extra 50 GB space.

I have yet to see any mods that require you to download the HD texture pack.

Actually, Just about every HD MOD PACK will say, UNINSTALL HD Textures before installing this mod/

Its actually crazy how HD mod packs uses less space or the same space as the HD texture pack and looks so much better.

The hd texture pack for this game has been out for at least 5 years.

released 2017. and yes, its 50 GB of hardly even upgraded textures.


unless you mean they for some reason are gonna release some new pack (once again) when there are plenty of good options already released on nexus.

The way the update worked , if you had a '' big '' graphics card you do see an increase in graphics , In April , my old laptop with a 1070 graphics died on me '' M/B failure '' , I replaced it for am MSI with 4070 graphics and 2T SSD . As soon as I cranked up FO4 for the first time , straight away I noticed a massive increase of graphics . I was surprised at the difference . For me it was like going from an analogue TY to a TV with 1080 resolution .

probably because the new laptop/computer has a higher resolution screen witch cause games to have less jagged edges so the graphics are still the same....
also the Fallout 4 - High Resolution Texture Pack DLC was made for higher resolution screens even though it's badly optimized.

it's always says that if you don't have the Fallout 4 - High Resolution Texture Pack DLC installed.
