Question abouth next gen update...

So i have normal base game only, and want to buy GOTY so this time i can play all.
But i am confused with next gen update, is it only going to be just normal update or i have to like download that other high resolution texture ? Or when next gen update comes i dont even need that free texture pack ? Really confused what i need.

it is a base game update afaik.
the version in the title screen will go up after this update

bro its just an update for fix's that have been done by modders years ago and they love to crash the game people modding this game to limits now they have to start over zaaa F !!

I will be guessing that you'll need the dlc to play anything anyway. I'd suggest if you have recently bought the regular game, and not played it, refund or just get the goty it'll be worth the price anyway. You won't get any extra base game to give out since steam stopped doing that years ago, but it's still well worth full price.

You don't need the texture pack because it's junk, and slows even REALLY GOOD rigs down tremendously. It's not even faintly worth downloading. But the others are definitely fun, and almost all good mods on nexus require the other dlcs.

They listed a time in the game's menu splash, and its not in your time zone bud. 6 am Eastern. "soon". I wouldn't count on your game running properly lol I have already gone offline just in case. I'm still deeply in the middle of my own modded run and have zero interest in the enclave.

When you read the blurb they have out at the moment there doesn't really seem all that much to get excited about, tbh. the 'new content' seems to be creation club content and aesthetic by looking at what's listed, and where there will be 'better graphics' this is also something modders have done already

Obviously they're gonna look to cash in after the success of the tv show, but for those of us who own the game and play modded it doesn't seem anything ground breaking

I bought the game when it came out, so back then i only bought base game. so it was long time a go. So know will just buy GOTY version. it is not a problem is it on sale in many places for like 7-8$ i love the game so i will not regret paying again
