I use 100 +/- mods: repair all settlements to a believable state, very lore friendly. Add some extra space, use some existing building (like the "apartments" in Hangman Alley) etc.
Some weapons mods, quest fixes and for me the best :
"We are the Minutemen"
That gives lots of extras if you like the Minutemen.
All those mods and yet my Fallout 4 is stable like a Rock !
Have fun !
I started myself with the unofficial patch and adding armor mods, to which i have looked then what they require. I've got them mostly from nexusmods. I have no single creation club stuff and as far as i understand it, then mods from creation club don't get along with that of nexus.
It's early morning CST in the USA, and/so the update to PCs is not in here yet. I'm just wandering around with Cogsworth. He kills things without suffering himself. I don't like to hear Dogmeat being hurt by insects the size of refrigerators. Dogmeat is at Red Rocket. He saw me and "sadly whimperered," say the subtitles. Lonely, I guess. I have a Creation Club pitbull that I sent to Red Rocket in late 2022. He is totally M.I.A. Swell.
