Whats with all the branded power armor?

I keep seeing power armor painted by in-game companies everywhere.
Is it DLC or are they in the base game?

There are some from Nuka World DLC. I can't recall if Far Harbour had one for their soda Factory (I haven't done it for a long time). The Atom Cats have one (I Think). Then there may be Creation Club Content that adds more (Not sure).

Far Harbour has at least two vim ones that I can remember. One red and one lime green

Unless it's real -world companies (our world) then it's all meant to be.

Unmodded you can get:
Atomcat Painting Shematic (from there vendorgirl after being a member)
X01 Institute Paint Shematic (stupidly only when you gone the full Institute Route)
Several Brotherhood Paint Shematics (only slight differences, because you get one everytime you climb up in the BoS Ranks for you corosponding Rank)
After a quest the X01 Quantum PA in Nukaworld
2 Vim PAs in Far Habour, one on a Truck (it got stolen back before the war) and one in the Fabric itself, you also get the Shematics for the Paints at a Therminal there

never seen shematics on Maxon, and i killed him a few times for diffrent Factions at that Mission, the only special Thing he drops is his Legendary Lasergatling and his normal Outfit (he dont wears any PA)

yes there are a few paint jobs in the DLCs especially.
Some even belong to armors that offer extra boost like Quantum X-01 (which has a movement bonus) and Nuka Cola T51 (which is T51F plus has a agility bonus if memory servres)
