I would start there. The mod adds a lot of stuff and sits very early in your load order. There is a good chance that one or more mods, which load after it, makes incompatible changes.
Okay, first and foremost, if you’re gonna ask for help you need to give us some sort of context about what’s happening.

Obviously you’re crashing, but when and where can be important things to know.

Since you haven’t provided that, I’ll just give you some of my initial observations…

1. You appear to be using the original South of the Sea mod. That one is notoriously problematic, incomplete, and pretty much broken.

If that’s the case, you may want to consider using South of the Sea - Atom’s Storm instead. It’s a much more stable version.

2. You have a lot of mods that break precombines by adding locations or changing existing ones, but you’re not using the Precombine Repair Pack. You don’t HAVE to use PRP necessarily, but using a lot of mods that break precombines can result in a game that is unstable, suffers from performance issues, and has a lot of visual problems (missing textures/models, invisible objects, z fighting, etc).

3. What’s your BA2 file count? Go into Fallout 4’s Data folder and in the search bar type “.ba2” (without quotes). You should see a number in the bottom left of the window. If that number is above 510 that could be an issue.

There is a limit to how many BA2 files you can have active in your game before it starts to become unstable or even crashes moments after starting the .exe.

Even with utility mods like Buffout 4 which have a toggleable “patch” to remove this limit, going over 510 can still cause some serious problems.

I just recently had an issue myself where I had BO4’s limit patch active and was trying to run over 700 BA2 files. The game started, but I got various graphical issues - like the skin texture of Nate/Nora’s faces being replaced by random textures. The only solution was to cut my BA2 limit back down to 510.

4. I see a patch of some sort for Feral Ghoul Expansion Pack, but no FGEP. If you DO have FGEP and I just didn’t see it, take note that the current build of that mod is generating a lot of bug reports and claims of crashing. This is on top of the mod author’s own statement on the page that FGEP will likely break or cause serious issues with any vanilla or mod-added quests that involve feral ghouls. It’s a cool mod, but one that you should only use if you’re okay with crashes and broken quests.


My recommendation for you though is to get yourself the crash log scanner utility. It will read your crash logs and translate them into something that’s easier to comprehend and significantly helps in pinpointing the issue.

You have a few PreVis patches…but then don’t have PRP…

Use LOOT to sort your load order.

You're highly likely to have to nuke this from orbit and start completely fresh, picking and choosing which of those *massively overarching and much-changing mods* you REALLY want in your game. You cannot have all of them. They will break everything when used together.

That mod list on that pc is likely to crash due to overload. Plus SS2 is likely to bug out late game on a slow cpu. Run SKK's script latency checker. I'd ditch the lot.
There's only one way to tell it's a mod issue . The amount of mods you have going to have disable 10 to 20 mods at a time starting at the top . Then start your game . If it still crashes ,
re-enable those mods and move on to the next group of mods and keep doing this until you
game starts up again . When this happens , start re-enabling those mods ONE AT A TIME
until your game crashes again . That last mod you re-enabled hopefully is the mods that got you in trouble . It's time consuming but it does work .
Something else I remembered just as I hit the '' post '' button . How much ram do you have ?
I had 8G in my laptop . As soon i went from 8 to 32G ram , my crash rate went half a dozen times a session to around once a week . My mod list was about as big as your's . something else to consider .

ok guys i kinda forgot about this thread i moved on from this modpack since i couldnt get it to work, still thank you all for trying to help.
