Mod help
I have been playing Fallout 4 for years and usually use Sim Settlements 2 to take care of the building aspect. But now I want to repair the actual buildings but after watching some video's I don't want to go into in depth as that.
Recently though I saw a mod that lets you restore/repair buildings around the Commonwealth with just a few clicks, the trouble is I can't remember what it was called. I've spent days looking for it, I wonder if anyone here uses it and could tell me what it is called?

hi, if i remember, in SS2 settlers will auto repair buildings/stuff if you got what is needed in SS2 storages (the colored containers), you can tweak many things at SS2 management table or from GNN if you took it as your GQ

I'm not sure a mod made for standard building system will correctly see SS2 stuff in settlements... i might be wrong...

hi, Didn't know know they would actually repair the buildings? I usually use a city plan which is usually a redone settlement.

But this mod I can't remember will let you repair the actual building once you are in workshop mode. It restores it to the original way it looked, roof, walls, floors etc. I think the mod had an object outside of buildings you could restore, something like that. I know it is doing my head in, lol.

There are individual mods that change many building areas in the game, but this isn't possible outside of using specific mods.

This page has some suggestions I don't know whether they're all available. Also be aware that it's a 2 year old thread and might not be in any way updated to suit the new version of the game.

May I suggest "The Rebuild Collection- AIO". In this one, once you have all the resources to repair a building, you can just click on a certain object in workshop mode, confirm by hitting enter, and the building is fixed. Using it now, now issues.

Thanks for the info @Zekiran and Ostlandr I think that is the one. Thank you both.

There are a couple of mods like that.
For along time I been using Commonwealth Deep clean and remodel.
BUT it conflicts with ym modlist and causes flickering buildings elsewhere due to broken precombines (at least thats what I think)
But its still a great mod and I run over 300 mods and it does work fine for most players:

PS: Another great one is the "living" series by zed140.
here is one example ( he has them for almost all settlments in the CW:

Been playing with Rebuild Collection - AIO and am having a blast even for an old Git like me, lol. I was never that into building but having some fun. Doing Jamaica Plain and the surrounding houses and it looks cool. How do I power the houses though and get food to the diner?

I will check out that 'living' one too.

Be sure that they're compatible first!

Yeah will do. I will say I'm playing with my own mod list and have 218 mods enabled, thought there was more but oh well. And I was playing with that 'Rebuild Collection-AIO' mod and it worked flawlessly.

The only thing is scrapping things like dead bodies, I use SS2 as well and they advised not to use scrap everything and that scrap dead bodies mods but I'd love to know if anyone does use them.

Anyway, I do have these 'tidy bots' mods that do scrap these things but forgot to use them last night so when I 'repaired' this building it had feral ghouls lying in the house and when I went in to have a look there was a ghoul stuck in wall perfectly like some horror wallpaper, it looked real creepy but awesome.

I can just put a settee in front of it or some other furniture but I love to know is there a way I can get it out somehow?

Scrap Everything is fine. Just don't scrap things like "doors that lead to interiors" and things like that.
Crowsy 22 JUN 2024 a las 4:39 p. m.
Thanks Zekiran I will give that a go. And daeamarth I already use them and work pretty well with SS2 as you say.Just wanted something quicker.

I tried the scrap bodies mod and so far it is working, does the scrap Everything play nicely with that if I don't go mad?
Zekiran 22 JUN 2024 a las 6:29 p. m.
I think the more specific one doesn't need to be there, since scrap everything actually does what it says on the box. Only when you've got modded areas and new settlements when people can choose to make pieces like rocks, trees, etc, scrappable, can it NOT scrap.

Plus if there's ever a doubt, most in-settlement bodies can be disabled. It depends on where specifically you are, because sometimes they like to linger.

I'm in Jamaica Plain at the moment and have SS2 running and that Rebuild Collection which I'm using there, well impressed with that. If I get in trouble or can't scrap something then i'll switch out scrap dead bodies for scrap everything, saying that I have a floating painting that I can't scrap, lol.

I took over the diner in Jamaica Plains and assigned a npc to it. Do I have to give food to her to sell or does she get it from somewhere?
