Can you remove the tarberry plants in The Slog?
They can't be stored or scrapped, shooting them visibly damages them but doesn't stop settlers from harvesting them (nor can they be repaired like crops that get damaged), and disabling them through the console visibly removes them but still keeps them harvestable by settlers in the game. I've tried a myriad of "scrap anything" mods as well as mods that add tarberry as a plantable crop, but still they can't be removed in any way. I ask because I don't want settlers to interact with them. Is there any way at all to do so?

And no, I don't want to play the roulette game of "let's hope this settler isn't randomly assigned to a tarberry", so I'm not gonna just "not assign settlers to them" since they do that automatically.

You mean the plants in the pool? I have no problem harvesting them, but they need some time to grow once in a while.

I don't want to harvest them, I want to remove them. They take up settler harvesting slots I want to use for different crops.

But you can use the 'scrap everything' mod from Nexus.

You can scrap the tarberries and it also shows things like NPC pick berry or NPC lean on wall you can delete these as well to keep settlers more focused on duties. For instance in Sanctuary you can delete all the NPC Hit wall with hammer nonsense.

Just be careful of deleting the wrong thing, always save first. And I'd advise against deleting anything big like the houses in sanctuary that you normally cannot delete as it causes visual issues as you move into the area. (you will see the original building in low res and it will vanish as you get closer)

Edit. I'm not sure if you've tried this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5320 but i just tested it and it worked fine removing the tarberries.

If only the chems that take those berries would include the wild ones. sigh, we will never get a proper update that includes cleaning up cut and dead-end content because those mutfruit bushes near Sanctuary would be an easy start up farm as well as those ferns to make lite Radaway. Albeit on survival gives random sickness for a few hours like rabies?

Well, your settlement, but there are plenty enough settlers present there when you take it over to harvest a bunch of crops or assign them to other duties.

And there is always the settler recruitment beacon you can construct to get more settlers.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to use Nexus stuff, I don't like dealing with their mod manager and all that... But I haven't found any that let me remove them in the Bethesda mods. Guess I'll have to, thanks man.

I already have 20 settlers there getting them ready to supply raiders, I just don't want them to supply them tarberries. It's nothing more than a personal peeve lol. I have a setup of crops I use for every 20-man settlement and it bothers me having to change it for this one settlement.

That's cool and thanks for explaining why. I never do anything for the raider scums. I kill them all when I can. lol.

Aint it the script that makes them go to those positions and animate, whether the plants are there or not. Just like the robots in Greygarden.

With the scrap everything mod you can delete those NPC prompts. You can't see them until you are hovering over it, but if you know the area one is in they are easy enough to find and scrap. Just gotta be careful and save often with the mod because you can scrap things you don't want to as well with a misclick. It made sanctuary much more peaceful without Sturgus and Jin banging on the walls constantly.

i guess removing them breaks precombines since they are not an objet that you can disable and they have no id.
i whish i could disable them too without scrap everyhing which i suppose breaks tons of precombine.
