anyone know a good mod that removes the need to have a system of wires going through the settlement

I've always used Mass Fusion Wonder Power[www.nexusmods.com] but there might be better ones these days, depends on what your needs are. If you just don't want to have to wire up a bunch of crap, this will do ya.

Note you still have to wire up logic circuits, if you're building elaborate things... how will a given switch know what powered door to open if there's no connection to it, etc...
