- 'The Best of three' NPC bodies are invisible.
- 'Malevolent Malfunction' is broken, I ended up coming across Dawson wile doing rando stuff and took the Sentinel without doing the quest in the current play through. I reduced the Rogue Sentinel Power Armor to a pile of ash and took the Liberty Prime voice module off it. But the quest wont complete. It still says in my quest log, Destroy the Rogue Sentinel Power armor. I can't even resurrect the NPC with the console to try killing it again because it's a pile of ash. No biggie though. I just uncheck and ignore it.
- At least the Vault 81 walls are not invisible this time.
Make sure you have the latest version of the game exe and also check for any updates of the CC items.
Where are the invisible bodies in Best Of Three?
3rd party loader, Nope.
Latest exe, Yep.
The bodies used in the best of three turn invisible on me. At least two of them did. the first. I was able to find the with the quest marker.
Will check for updates. Others are also complaining about 'Early retirement' walls being broken by the patch.
- Nope. you ignored what I wrote... I didn't plan on doing the quest yet. I came across Dawson while doing other quests.
You claimed it was a bug and it was broken. You were the one to break it by script jumping. You cannot jump script stages with Bethesda games, it will break your script.
these have been known to cause an issue when bodies are "spawned" in. The clothing meshes are missing, leaving an inter actionable "invisible" body.. re-equipping the clothing on the corpse fixes this.
Also note that some CC content that seems borked by the NG update just needs to be re-installed to work right.
Open up the CC store inside the game, go to your purchased content and download it again, and you should be fine.
If you are missing walls, and floors, AND are playing on a modded game, check your settlement crafting mods, if you have any. A conflict or load order issue might have come up thanks to the patch. Run LOOT to fix this if this is your issue.
and of course, I could be wrong and its something else.. but this is a place to start at least.
