Disagree. There really was no reason to alter it from Skyrim. One of the best lockpicking mechanics I've seen in a long time.
well i have noticed the "More luck you have the more bobby pins you get lol"
What do you like about it? That it offers no challenge whatsoever? That bobby pins are available in abundance after the first two hours of the game? That there are absolutely no repercussions from failing?
Come to think about it there is actually one mechanic that's worse in F04, Hacking.
but see, the problem is, no matter how dumb their complaint, if there's enough of them, they'll change it. because no matter how stupid, all their money is still good ol legal tender in whatever country they're in... so they cater to the idiots, and every iteration of a game series gets less and less, and becomes more generic and simplified, approachable by everyone, doesn't offend anyone, in a global market.
when you put profit before everything, this is the outcome. It's just the way of things.
leave your game in "turbo boost mode" of too many frames over 60; it makes lockpicking a challenge, at least for a little while, it moves so fast you will not be able to play Skyrim ever again without doing the same, though. Stock feels infuriating, slow-motion, after you get it down.

The modders' efforts to make it possible to play the game without playing the game seem endless.
Maybe you missed the part where I said the mini-games get boring after many repeats. The point of the mod I noted is to remove the tedium while keeping the need for perks in lockpicking and hacking. Maybe you just missed that part.
And if you're trying to imply that I am skipping part of the game itself, I should note that I have 2000+ hours playing it, which is many times more hours than you have playing it. I played for well over 1000 hours before downloading a mod for it. How about you?
