Fully upgraded with Explosive resist paint.
If I dont use that, I use the Quantum Armor from Nuka World for its insane AP regen
My plan is to gather them all, upgrade and modify them all, store them and use them each for different types of missions and playstyles.
I'm very new to fallout. I'm having a blast though. I bought this game in 2019 and then refunded because I had a brand new PC and wanted games that looked like a brand new PC like RE2R and this game wasn't photorealistic like that. I regret that because I've come to love open world games like this and value the glitzy graphics less because it usually means less content and gameplay.
I have to say that I'm in the mid to late in the game situation and I get killed now and again. I'm not playing survival. Or maybe we have different definitions of "mid to late" in the game.
It is true the armor values are not that different or important when you are perked out in your abilities, but that extra +4 INT is helpful at any level. If you put the I'M SPECIAL book on INT as well, then that gives you a top off of 15 INT, i.e. +45% experience base without other bonuses like Lover's Comfort. It also vastly reduces the number of passwords to sort through in Hacking, so that's much faster when needed.
