How to knock down enemies?

I saw a couple videos, which shows you can knock down npcs and pickpocket them. But when they are on foot some of them dont let me. How to knock them?

I know there's a perk you can take that if you're in Power Armor you can knock down enemies you run into.

Yeah, pain train. The problem is, its at the very end of strenght, if i remember the SPECIAL right.

Ah, thank you it would be mod. I saw a guy did it with a last level sniper perk as well. I got maximum pickpocket + sneak but named raiders especially power armored ones seeing me.

You can body slam people with your fists by pressing the bash button twice.

Not many people know about the double bashing special attacks.

What Alio said. An undocumented feature.

Basically double tap power attack unlocks special unarmed and melee moves (different). Some only proc on a kill.
