echoes of the past quest

I failed to investigate . How did i fail when i havenet started the quest. My character was in the glowing sea

Pretty sure that if it's IN your quest list - and it gets shoved in there with all the other mandatory fun from the update - then that quest HAS started. I'm guessing the fail is that you didn't investigate the terminal. If you then go to the glowing sea and find the location (or maybe even just enter the glowing sea?) without first reading the terminal at the outpost to tell you to GO LOOK in the glowing sea then it will fail that segment of the quest. Sucks, I'm sure, but I assume that's just the dumbass way they forced it on us.

That should not happen. Is the quest gone from your Data list of quests? I mean there are other reasons to go to the Glowing Sea besides that quest.

yep, you must have stumbled into the Atlantic Office out in the glowing sea, short-cutting the line to the mid-quest point.. the quest itself cannot be failed, that's just one stage...

if this is really going to bother you and ruin your fun, load an earlier save and go and do that before you accidentally find their glowing sea base...

Yea i saw the next step listed. I saw in the sea for Virgil lol
