How do I fix this weird power armor glitch?

I have already updated my graphics drivers, verified my game files and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing has worked
Edit: I had to do a "factory reset" of my game. Basically, I uninstalled it, deleted everything that remained of the game in my files, reinstalled the game and verified my files

That is caused by video card/system damage.
That is the beginning of either to low of a video card/system or its starting to become damage and will go out soon if not replaced.

System Specs including video card/system info would be helpful.

LOL, no. Video card damage aint going to change positions of a model like that. It would also be doing it to EVERYTHING, not just Danse.

They did something to change the model and the game does not like it. It happens all the time when I try changing the hairstyles on settlers

What your pic showed is what happen in Sims 2 when the video card was not good enough or it was starting to go bad.

I do not have your problem but I also don't use any mods that would change power armor.
That is whats known as tearing.

Since when do Sims wear power armor?

I can literally cause that same effect that screenshot is showing by using SLM and changing the hairstyles on my settlers. It winds up with a corrupt mesh for the hair.

That is definitely something that edited power armor. If you know how the meshes work a NPC without power armor is shorter, the power armor stretches and elongates the NPC inside. For some reason the NPC is not being stretched and elongated, hence Danse's head being much lower than the shoulders. Which is also causing the rendering to use points that do not exist cause the weird graphics effect.

From the look of it, I would guess you are using an incompatible Skeleton being used with a body mod.

Couple of wild guesses.

has Fusion girl body and Zaz extended Skeleton... but forgot to grab Body talk 3 for the males....

Seen this behaviour (or similar) before and its almost always skeleton related.

Its the same effect, Sims 2 you can download a set of skins or clothing or anything and if its to heavy for the GPU to handle then you get screen tearing and it can lead to damaging the GPU.

I asked about mods, neither has replied.
Most likely, whatever mod in use did not get updated dlls for the NG patch.

This is Fallout 4, not Sims 2.
Do you even know what Fallout 4 video card requirements even is?
It is just about any graphics card made in the last ten years.

On top of that the screenshot is in an INTERIOR cell (Cambridge Police Station interior) which has nearly nothing for graphics strain. So no idea where you keep getting this "too heavy for the GPU" idea from.

I should also probably say that it has been an issue with all power armors in the game, not just with Danse. I've also taken the liberty of removing as many skeleton related mods as possible. ZaZ, CAN, and even dynamic animations. I've also cleared out my entire mod folder in case one of the broken mods was the problem

I've already removed most, if not all skeleton related mods from my files. The only manually added parts are CC add-ons I'm too poor to buy, level up and idiot savant sound replacers, and perk graphical changes. Nothing that would affect the skeleton.

It aint about what mod "should do what" as I have seen completely unrelated mods cause issue.

Time to play "Disable mod roulette" and see which mod is the problem.
(dont save when exiting)
- Disable all to make sure it goes away
- Enable mods one by one and see which causes it.

That might be a problem since I had a few mods downloaded manually and it's been years since I've played it with mods on. Is there some way to like "factory reset" my files?

You mean uninstall, delete anything leftover in the folders then install again?
