https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6443 We are the minutemen. Boost the minutemen in terms of power, changes and adds quests. Not been updated since 22.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6443 Militarised Minutemen. Adds over 15 modular military themed items for the minutemen, overhauling the factions with different classes and combat styles. not updated since 18
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13115 Minuteman overhaul 2.0 Completely Overhauls the Minutemen Faction, Adding TONS of new and Exclusive Features. Again not updated since 18
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30509 lets the minutemen help take over Nuka World. also not updated since 18
And then there are dozens that add equipment, or change the uniforms...
Many of these can be combined to REALLY overhaul the minutemen into something Special.. and not in the short bus way
And as always when modding:
Read the description, sort your load order, install 1 at a time and test!
Other than that, sky's the limit.
watmn hasnt been updated, but I was looking through the comments and the mod author said alluded to it being fine. and many hours into my new game, it has been.
between the 2 mods it seemed to beef up the minute men a bit more. and its nice, because they arent just tons all over, they build up as you get settlements to join and built up.
as for making more to do with the gunners im not sure. but with more minute men patrolling around, I am seeing ( and hearing) more gun fights around.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12395 War of the commonwealth?
or maybe
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12395 Endless warfare?
Many mods pulled out of Nexus over that.
no, thats about the npcs in the settlements building their own houses and such.
I never finished SS2 as I played it was it was still in development,
I will say this however:
Kinggath knows his ♥♥♥♥, and does GOOD work. Grab the mod and try it out!!
(I had conflicts when I last tried... mind you, I have close to 500 mods running too, so this is decidedly a "ME" issue and not the mods fault. )
But as Smokauweeds says, its mostly a settlement building mod.... So expect to do settlement building if you grab SS2...
That said, the Settlement building is totally reworked and actually kind of fun in SS2!
Instead of trying to build houses and such by hand, you place a "plot" down and it turns into a house. That house also changes as time goes by without you having to do anything.
There are plots for houses, food, industry, commercial. defense. and what not.
Its pretty awesome.
https://www.youtube.com/@kinggath That's his youtube page. He has multiple "lets play" videos of him playing the SS and SSConq, and SS2 mods he built so you can get an idea of the changes he made. And the story he put in. (Spoilers for quests should be noted as it IS a Lets PLay..)
SS2 seems like it has thee parts, do I need to download SS1?
SS 1 is just a "building" mod. No story line.
for SS2 you just need the the main file, and then the "chapters" found on the main mod page description. They are modular addons and found on their own entries.
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/55817 for chapter 2
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/73394 for chapter 3
