which means the weapon diseappered from the game for ever.
have a nice day.
Console commands do not block achievements, and never have in any Bethesda Fallout/Elder Scrolls game. Anything in the game that says differently is wrong.
An achievement enabling mod is only needed is you are using other mods.
the easiest choice is to spawn a new copy of the alien blaster with
player.placeatme 000FF995
however this will not be the original one he lost but a new one.
000ff995 is the form id, but once the gun appear in the game it comes with a new random id ffxxxxxx.
the op's original one had an id like ffxxxxxxx ( x are numbers and letters ), and it is not fixed, it's generated id when you find it.
for exemple mine is ff015422.
since this ref is randomly generated there's no way op manage to find the original blaster's id because there's no way to know its generated id if you don't have the gun with you. and i don'th think the help command will tell it.
and even if he know it , placeatme won't work with ffxxxxxxx ref items.
but player.moveto ffxxxxxx will work, but only if the gun is on the ground and not if in a container or a npc's inventory but since op doesn't know the id, it is just impossible.
player.moveto 000FF995 doesn't work because it's a form id that only serves for generating the gun in the game, it's not an existing ingame objet.
and as i said, if it was taken by a mob who died, the original gun ( the one op has lost ) is even no more in the game.
if you left it in Sanctuary, and you have settlers there.. then its STILL there... One of your settlers picked it up because the settlement got "attacked" when a bloat fly floated by...
Problem is, you're going to have to search each one till you find it!
For the record..the ONLY place Settlers won't grab an item from are mannequins.... I don't know why. But settlers will grab any weapon from anywhere they can if they are attacked. Workshop, crate, desk, locker, safe, Display rank...
If you have no settlers... you can use the console to get a new one.... as others have said.
