The Nuclear Option bugged

Can't progress past the Nuclear Option (Brotherhood) because after detonating the reactor, it attempts to load the cutscene, it freezes seconds after.
It doesn't freeze on the explosion, it detonates just fine, then it goes to a black screen with the green Vault-Tec logo in the bottom right corner, then it goes grey with the cutscene and freezes. After that happens, I have to bring up task manager and force quit the game.

I'm currently limiting my FPS with Radeon's GPU Chill and the game is practically locked at 72 FPS, but disabling GPU Chill doesn't affect anything, it still bugs out.

Game is unmodded, I'm trying to unlock my last achievement so I haven't downloaded anything this time

Yeah I had to reload 4-5 times b4 it worked... thats the only solution I know

I've done it a few dozen times now, and it still won't fully load the cutscene

Sorry, I don't know what else to say, except try verifying files.

I did. Files verified just fine.
I gave up, I just triggered the completion of the quest via console commands to get to A New Dawn before reloading before Spoils of War so I could continue working with the Railroad.
I'll try to remember to update when I get to the end of that story line, whether or not I have the same issue again.

1 last thing, try loading the scence in Windowed mode.... NOW I'm outta ideas

Haven't tried windowed mode yet, but it just happened with the RR ending

Success! It froze again the first time, and my FPS dropped to around 48 (less if you moved to look out at the skyline), but the second time around, it got through the cutscene.

🤔🤷‍♂️maybe issue with free drive space, ram, vram, fps maybe needs lowering ,,, if using ultra defualt vid setting, try high ,,, lower fps ,,, check free space ,,, monitor with HWinfo64 ,,, 🤔🤷‍♂️😉
