I have an extra Agility point
I purchased 7 stars of agility points, and I applied a pommel horse boost for +1 agility point. After that, my agility reads 9 meaning that +2 points are on top of how many stars I purchased.

This shows without a death claw steak boost, without well rested, unclothed and so on. If I had well rested, my endurance would be +2 on top of 7 and it is not. Survival mode and I already figured out how to adjust my perception dip closer to the correct value using a poison armour and scorpions method. I must have used med-x while poisoned but that does not explain the agility bonus that I do not deserve.

Even my perception is 7 stars purchased and at 6 it does not read ( - ) "low". On 6 & 7, perception reads normal with no bracket indicating it is low or high. (because 7 is the true value....)

Any ideas about this agility point? Could it be related to this perception issue too? Levelling +1 star on agility did not help correct it, only made it higher of course.

I also have incurred an unknown agility point (+1) while naked.

You probably picked up a magazine or item somewhere along the way.

Also "purchased" ... you remember that you START with 1 point in everything, right? Not zero?

Purchased up to the total level of 7 no greater than seven. Also, no magazine in the pipboy perk section displays a "+1 to agility". The only thing I have come across that could potentially be the culprit is the fact that the poster has sneak perk level 1 (20% harder to detect while sneaking) which could attribute to the increased stat since stealth is related to agility. That or it is a similar cause where culvert operations (level 2) is giving 0.5 agility stat per magazine found. I have both sneak level 1 and covert operations level 2. I also have an +1 agility point.

I have not found the agility bobblehead yet and the special book I dedicated to LUCK which is no longer reflected in the pipboy as LUCK + 1. I too have +1 agility than I should. Could it be that the special book somehow shifted?

do you have any mods installed? one of them may be responsible if not check to see if you have any chems active. also you could try verifying the game cache in steam.

The Pommel Horse gives an agility point if used.
I think well rested gives one too, but that may be just Fallout 76 that does that.

Only creation club content. Of course you could blame mods, but I am looking for ideas to help aid this or find some willing and creative troubleshooting efforts without mods and without a console during survival mode. I already improved my perception value mismatch by using in game means. Maybe there are more. Old threads from years ago repeat the same old thing, and aren't always the right "variant" of the problem.

This is a case where there is an unexplained point on a special value without Chems, without agility from the you're special book & only using the pommel horse. I do believe I used the special book on strength because I always prefer some more carry weight. I do not have well rested, I am portraying a man with an ailment who is going mad over searching for a solution in the map. So I am tired, getting sick, hungry and thirsty and letting it all try to correct (by yanking on special values in different ways).

I never found the agility bobblehead yet and I eat deathclaw steaks. The only thing that makes sense is a deathclaw steak has become permanent, something that I regularly eat before combat and interior clears. Some times it appears to adjust and attempt to correct if I activated unyielding or got addicted to med-x for some reason.

Things normalize and then ♥♥♥♥ right up again. It's hard to understand what is true information coming from the Special list inside pip boy status. The perk chart shows true information and I cannot purchase perks ahead of my actual special level.

Are there any perks that influence and increase the agility special point? Such as sneak or mister sandman? Things that lie within agility branch? I must be missing something. I am not a solar powered or moon powered being. The only time of day stipulation I have is night time damage bonus. So i wouldn't all of a sudden spring a point out of a sunny day or something like that. I have become better at sneaking through magazines instead of investing into agility perks past sneak 1 and the stat itself at 7.

Does you're special even apply an increased (+) indicator for the boosted special point? If so that would be the only thing that makes sense. My damned perception is on a fritz and made its way to 23. Let's just hope any odd values are purely cosmetic. There is no explaining a 23 from a 7 with a book, a bobble or a chem. lol :Geralt:

Anything that provides a bonus or penalty can become permanent. That is a known bug. Are you playing in Survival Mode? If I remember right, it has something to do with the bonus (or penalty) wearing off while sleeping. If it does, it instead becomes permanent.

There is a difference. Beth does not call them mods and they do have a "Mods" section when you bring up the CC page. They do not install like a outside source mod does and also, they only "add" items. They don't change anything in the base game like mods can do.

Beth has stated before, they work with the CC creators and have also hired them as permanent developers in the past.

I look at them as a separate thing. CC small DLC's. But one can call them whatever they want. But that does not change what they are. Creation Club items, which are tested and supported by Beth. They have did patches for them before. They don't do that with the mods they list.

And on subject, I would not worry about 1 extra agility OP. It's really no big buff. Enjoy it and have fun.

Well, that tells you it's a bonus from something, rather than an adjustment to your base Agility score, not that that narrows it down much.

I don't suppose you've used any power armour paintjobs that granted a +1 Agility bonus, like the Abraxo, Hot Rod (any type), or Vim Refresh paint? I vaguely recall someone once having a power armour effect get stuck.

You can check the unmodified value for agility by typing in console (copy and paste should work)

player.getbaseav agility

if the line above doesn't work, type the following instead

player.getbaseav 000002C7
