Lost the World Series Bat
Generally I give items to my followers, however, my 2076 World Series bat is missing. I checked everyone, no one had it. I tried using the "add item" code, which technically gave me a copy of the bat; however, it is invisible when I equip it and I cannot modify it at the bench. Does anyone have any suggestions that I could try?

What item code did you use... there are multiple codes for the bat.

Just max out big leagues and every two handed weapon knocks the heads off. I do it with warhammer weapons all the time. ThunderHammer sends the heads into orbit.

Good luck finding it, really. Without resorting to cheats and console commands, and if the bat was stored within a settlement that got raided, you can check the corpses around the last known location of the bat very promptly before they dissapear to see if some literal ass hat picked it out of your container or bench

Like legendary effects, the "world series" part of it is a special kind of mod part added to a normal baseball bat in its own logo slot, rather than the bat as a whole being a unique item. So, there are two ways to make a replacement:

  1. Take an existing baseball bat and use the AMOD command on it to attach the relevant mod part (ID: 61722).
  2. As -={LG}=- suggested, use ADDITEM to give yourself the levelled list entry that contains the completed form (ID: 226438). This levelled list doesn't appear for the HELP command, and a levelled list would usually contain a mix of items, but the ID can be found in the Creation Kit, and this particular list contains only that one item.

Personally, I prefer to backtrack as the replacement will never truly be the original, but to each their own.

Dang. That's the official item code from the wiki. Oh wait, you were talking to the other guy. Try player.additem 00226438.
