Conduits, conduits, conduits...
Can someone explain how to use conduits in Vault 88?
I know the basics. I know what they say conduits can do...but actually doing what every tutorial says inevitably leads me to a situation they didn't cover.

Specifically...how do you make the Conduit Wall Pass-Through actually pass through when the wall is thicker than the conduit?

Are there places you don't need to put conduits, like walls that conduct electricity via some internal mechanism, making conduits redundant? Cuz sometimes it seems like it, with lights lighting up nowhere near a power source or radiator.

Placing conduits has been a very frustrating and unclear experience, and the tutorials I'm finding online really aren't helping.

Oh. I see what's going on.

The function of a Vault Power Conduit was poorly explained by Fallout 4; they never said you needed more than one, and the implication was that you needed to connect the Vault Power Conduit to the generator and then you had to connect everything up using wires and conduits.

I think I understand better now.
Thanks.

Conduits are best used at other settlements. I have used them in Vault 88 for very specific functions.

I like conduit for electrifying most buildings up to two floors high. The Tesla radiators make lighting simple.

The Vault 88 scenario kinda left me in the dark on a few things, and it's thankfully much easier than it at first appeared.
