Fallout 4
Where to buy more customizable vault suits and vault jumpsuits when having the customizable vault suit creation Club installed
I downloaded the customizable vault suit creation Club and I am wondering if there is a way to get more suits besides the ones you already get from the miscellaneous mission? If not I guess I'll just have to use the 49 suits I have minus one for myself wisely whenever I get around to creating vault 88.

Just install vortex from nexus, and click on the mod manager download version of the file and it does all the work. Just launch the game from the top left play button in the launcher and you are off to the races.

Is there a way to disable mods easily if you don't want them on certain saves? Like how you can with the default built in mod manager and fallout four?
Yep. Just disable or uninstall them in vortex and they will stay archived in the launcher so you can use them again anytime you want. I run over 300 and its gotten the job done pretty well. Also any offsite mods you want to add just drop the zip file at the bottom section of the manager and it will unzip and install it for you.
What about all the mods I have Already installed from the built-in mod launcher?
I don't like vortex, It literally prevented the game from launching... Not to mention when I uninstalled it it literally disabled all my mods I have on fallout 4 thankfully it didn't delete them or anything, But is there a manual way to install mods from the Nexus?

Mod Organizer 2 but its more technical if you want a manager. Just look at the instructions and use the manual download and unzip it to wherever they tell you.
I doubt it is a whise idea to tell someone who never downloaded from nexus and who is not really tech firm (stated himself he could not make batch files work) that using 300 mods is a good idea and that disabling mods is no issue at all.

1: If you remove mods that added items that are saved in the savegame it can lead to bugs
2: if you remove mods during a savegame it can corrupt the savegame
3: Yes technically you can add 248 Full Mods, up to 400 Ba2 files and 4096 of these mods that use the adress FEXXX range. But only because its theoretical doable in real it will not work.
4: It depends STRONGLY on what mods you install, in general just as a rough number you can install maybe 50 Mods before you get Conflicts. A conflict CAN just break one Content you will never perceive ingame, or it can make one mod strop working or it can make your game crash. POint is that many mods change the same entry.
However you CAN have many many many mods that just add content, but even then you can come to a point that so many scripts run in the Background that your game is no longer playable

I give you the advice to backup your savegame before installing any additional mods.
Backzup your mod loadorder too. Installing mods during a savegame can cause issues (not so often but some mods do) removin mods in a savegame will more often cause issues.
As a rough tip, keep the mods that change gameconent under 50 and only one mod per Category, means one mod that changes Recipes, one for Companions, one for settlers ,....
Mods that add content can be problematic, but must not. (for example, if 2 mods add a gun to trudys inventory container only one will work. If one of the two will add it with a script both will work)
Mods that just edit meshes and textures without a esp you can install normally so many as you wish, but again, if mod a turns your wall poictures into action pictures and mod B turns them into Adult Pictures, you will only have adult pictures

Can one not just download the mods and put them in the folder themselves do we really need a mod manager to do it if that's the case then I'll just not use Nexus mods ever again? Or at least I won't use Nexus fallout 4 mods

I mainly just use mods I found on the fallout 4 built in mod manager, Usually they don't cost too much problems except for sim settlement two that save unfortunately died Also I don't really use too many mods Except for ones that add to the gameplay, add quests, or Make my player character look like a fox (because I like foxes), but I have downloaded mods before for other games like Sims 4, Minecraft, and Starbound. But I've also been hurt by trying to download mods by accidentally downloading a virus onto one of my computers because I barely knew I was doing when I first started modding for Minecraft. Which is why nowadays I prefer to only use mods offered by the company or buy The company approved mods even though I believe downloading the alien weapons creates some club Content made my game lot less functional and much more laggy

Yes you can install the mods from nexus manually
Do you just put them in your mod folder?

Generally yes, but there are exceptions, fose and AAF for example. Many mods come with explanations. The typical mod comes with a ESP and BA2 file. Just copy them into your Data folder and activate them

Since vortex need windows 10 or 11 i use https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/305 to sort my loadorder and start the game with or without fose
I think I just stick with the mod in Fallout 4's built in mod selector because I'm kind of frustrated and not trusting of downloading mods from the Nexus anymore after all vortex caused my game to not even work anymore so what guarantee is there that the mods from the Nexus won't do the same thing?
Every single mod has the potential to screw your game.
If possible, play your current run to the end, and then try your new mod setup before you start a serious game.

NMM doesnt do anything to your mods, if you use it to sort your loadorder it will only do this. But sure, if you do not want to install many mods, or you do not need to enable/disable mods then you maybe will have no big benefits from it

Older Pic, i have now more mods. This is the NMM mod list

The last mod "Move your workbench can be enabled and Disabled fine. I disable it if i want to use the "scrapall" command, or it would scrap the workbenches
