Best Place to find Combat Armor Helmet

Besides using the consul command, what is the best place to find multiple Combat Armor Helmet? Any vendors sell it?

West of sanctuary there is an abondoned APC in a marsh with some bloodbugs near it. Should be a helmet there if im not mistaken.

Vendors dont carry it till around level 20 i think. Not 100% on either though.

There is always one at the Hub City Auto Wreckers. In the shack in the middle of the lower area of it, where the terminal is to lower the bridge. It lays on a table left from the terminal.

Warning: There are Gunners with an Aggressotron and a leader in power armor.

Proctor Teagan sells a special one with lower AP cost in VATS and polymer mod on it. Not sure but i think you must do one or 2 quests for the BoS first before he offers it.

You can buy a legendary(+1 INT, +1CHA) in Covenant. Its called the destoryer's helmet.

Come to think of it...I've only found one throughout my playthrough (in terms of loot, not in stores :P). Then again, it never bothered me because I'll forever sport the blue bandanna on my face.

you are not mistaken. One of the first things i get on a new playthrough.

Proctor Teagan sells a legendary one (10% fewer points used in VATS) but theres one that reliably respawns at Hub City Auto Wreckers, over the road from the ironworks. It's in the shack with the terminal to lower the bridge.

don't spend too much time for the helmet, u can get better helmet/hat protection when u unlocked a crafting from railroad, by that time, all helmet can be throw away

OP may be collecting them for the settlers. I set up Costal Cottage settlement dressed all the settlers like BoS most have combat helmet. I just kept checking gunner camps sometimes the gunners are wearing combat helms.

Gunners are always a good source of combat armor. Head to their HQ down South for a supply.

The mercs guarding the insane asylum wear combat helmets. You can get 3-4 per sweep, but they count as assaults/murders for killing them.

At level 20. the APC just has plain old vanilla army helmet..

The ballistic fiber weave? Didn't know it could be used on helmets as well. Thanks.

I do want them for settlers. Was hoping for a vendor that sold them. I raid the quincy ruins and the Gunner Plaza every now and then but those helmets don't like to spawn much.

I use the one from Proctor Teagan for myself. I'll try the Hub City Auto Wreckers. Thanks for the replies.

Try storm gas masks, they also look neat in combo with military uniforms and combat armor. Theese are also more common to find as many raiders wear them.

I got normal one for Piper from Hub City Auto Wreckers, and a Bos one for me from Prydwen.
Bos one same as Normal but gives +10 Radiation too.
