P.S. Don't be salty to the NPC when you grab the deathclaw hand.
You know the perk for humans that lets you control them ?,well when you fail it agroos them
add i have the one that pacifies animals (mirelurks funny enough are counted as animals) ,i was trying to calm all the mirelurks to kill them or make less targets, and mel got in cross fire
very mature
Open console '~'.
Click face. Preferably his.
Type 'Kill' watch gleefully as he dies writhing in agony. They type 'resurrect'.
...and if all else fails ♥♥♥♥ off to some secluded part of the F4 world and wait for about 2 weeks.
also fast travel far away and wait 3 days then go back, he should be back to normal.
you know how to wait in fallout don't you? set on a chair or sleep.
You can also remove essential status though I believe that requires character/base id. Also easy enough to get.
I think in F4 you can set it also by clicking NPCs. Just make sure its selected that actual npc and not a cloud of dust or godray.
If you cant get it that way type:
- 'help [name] 4' and if they have multiple parts to there name use quotes "Drummer Boy".(Use the double quote not just 2 single ones.)
-Find there ID. There may be two numbers, one should match what came up when you clicked on them in console.(if not then you had selected something else. Not huge issue)
Now admittedly I dont remember if its the character ID or base ID you want but try both.
-setessential [ID] 0
--0 false = off
--1 true = on
Then follow the original steps and if needed reassign the essential status after. You can also remove essential, kill, then respawn the character altogether.
-Follow kill steps.
-Find ID and type player.placeatme [ID] 1
--It may not require the 'player.' bit... cant remember but its easy enough to try both. I also believe the '1' at the end is optional but just in case.
This should spawn a brand new NPC.
