You CAN transform Codsworth into Alfred

I've changed Codsworth race to defaultrace, and it seems to crash when I'm at the Television before you're sent out of the house.
If you were planning on turning Codsworth into a human and place him in a tuxedo, I'm sorry to say, that you can't.
If i do figure out a way, I'll post it here.

You'd think that it should be possible to shove Codsworth into a synth body like we do we Curie. But I guess his program has language that makes it want to remain inside its Mr. Handy body.

It wouldn't be too hard, actually.
Curie is just a Miss Nanny, basically the same type of AI codsworth uses so It's more than possible.

Yes, and this proves that the Synths are just robots on the same level as the Mr. Handys and Miss Nannys. Actually the Mr. Handys and Miss Nannys have ridiculously advanced AI but this is never commented on in a story about Synths with advanced AIs. I guess that people simply don't care about the Mr. Handys because they don't look like humans.

If the mannequins looked more human I'd bet the Railroad would be smuggling them out of Boston too.

Do you think maybe it's just something to do with the initial "pre-war" scripting and that it might be easier/possible when in the actual game area?

Instead of the defaultrace, I used humanrace instead.
This is Codsworth's default human race skin, one small problem:
Around the neck, he has a bloody texture for some odd reason.

Had any problems with him after the change as in scripting problems etc (eg. meant to fight with that flamethrower, but doesnt have one)

I kinda just picture him twirling around with his arms up shooting flame from his fingers.
