WTF OK THIS IS BS!

My characters level is 33 at this time and I am at the national guard training yard. I just got the expert perk to lock pick and I went to the container behind the armory to get the power armor. I saw that it was X01 power armor but when I got in the container it said that it was t45 power armor. Is this just a model glitch or is it something else. Also can someone tell me what level I need to be to get the X01 power armor? This pisses me off so much >:(

X-01 is common as dirt past level 40. don't sweat it.

Quicksave and reload. I had a slight glitch in the same area - I was level 22 at the time. Tried to get in the suit but it refused to show the "E" to enter suit script.

One reload later, glitch gone. Not quite the same I'll grant, but you never know, it might work. :)

The model could be glitched, I found a suit of X01 in 35Court, but when I approached it, it looked like T60, once I inspected the armor in the Power Armor inventory, everything materialized correctly as X01.

Yeah, I've had a similar experience... Armour showed up as T60 in appearance, but was in fact T51...

I've also seen an empty frame glitch to show a full T51 suit, but actually contain no armour when interacting with it... Once entering the frame, the armour dissapeared...

It's possible the OP had entered the cell early enough for T45 to spawn (and become locked as T45), but the appearance glitched when returning at a higher level (maybe something to do with the cell refreshing?), so that it appeared to be X01, when really T45...

X01 spawns at level 28. 35 court if you are level 28 will be full set of X01. antwhere else will be partial to full suits. higher level better chance of more pieces.

Yeah, sure:

Go to 35 court. It's the only place x-01 spawns a full suit past level 28 all the time.

It may look like T-51B sometimes but say X-01, Just remove and re-equip the parts to fix that though.
