Where's Vadim

I'm trying to do one of Valentin's case and I want to talk to Vadim but he's not at the Dugout Inn. Where do I find him?

use a chair inside bar, fast forward time a few hours until he spawns.

If you just finished the Confidence Man quest it sometimes takes him a day or 2 to get back.

If you haven't finished Confidence Man he in the Beantown brewery in need of a rescue.

It's been a while since I did that quest and I'm pretty sure I rescued him. I went back and checked, raiders had respawned there but he was not there.

He doesn't seem to be there

I've read in places that after you free him in the first mission with him, he might get killed on the way back to the dugout. If he's dead can I respawn him and still do the quest? Or can I respawn to him in case he's stuck somewhere?

Only if you follow him on the way back, otherwise he'll just teleport to the Dug-Out

So any idea why I can find him? Again can I spawn him or telephone to him? Is that possible with console commands?

Try this in the console:
prid 00002efd
moveto player

If that's not the proper reference, ID then:
1) Load an older save
2) Click on Vadim whilst in the console
3) It'll display his correct reference ID, write it down or something
4) Do the above with the proper reference ID
