I would also like the gasmask with goggles head item to be upgradeable it also needs a greater list of items its compatible with. Doesn't make much sense why the gasmask doesn't work with the military helmet or cap, I would love to use a gasmask/cap combo and a gasmask/helmet combo for my settlement guards.
- It's heavy.
- It cannot be worn with additional armor.
Army or military fatigues can still get the +110/+110 of Ballistic Weave 5, are lightweight, and can be worn under whatever torso and limb armor you choose. You'll have much higher protection combining weave'd fatigues with, say, combat or synth armor, than you will with just a woven Courser piece.
Well the way I see it the first couple ranks of ballistic weave should have been available. Leaving the higher ranks locked behind the Railroad content.
Especially if you wanna do like I do an use it on your provisoners and maybe some settlers.
Yep, good old Toadwart, technically a troll peon and not an orc peon, but @#$% it, who cares :P
Side note the very first time I found/saw synth armor it was a left arm piece off a legendary (fav legend item, gives slow) and I didn't know about the bug so I thought all synth armor was subdermal. Was devastated to find out it wasn't lol.
It is reason enough to let the Railroad live long enough to do all of PAM's quests no matter how hard you plan to betray and kill them later (preferably while wearing armored Railroad Agent clothing).
