What's with the scrotum poles?

New patch added "Super Mutant" stuff to crafting, which includes these huge poles that have what appear to be scrotums on them. What was Bethesda thinking when they added this stuff to the crafting system? Why not give us more walls and floors, maybe some plain, practical wooden posts without scrotums on them?

The "abstract" paintings are also pretty ugly, but those other paintings look nice, especially that Revolutionary-era one with the man on the horse.

Bethesda if you see this, please remove the scrotum poles and give us something more practical.

I've just had an amazing idea.
When the fight pit DLC comes, have the Scrotum wars arena. A battle ground where big, boulbous bollucks oversee everything.

Agree about all the scrotum poles being added. WTH was B thinking?? though the cages added in aren't to bad and seem to be of minor good use for filling odd gaps left by fence barrier walls.

They are meant to be Meat sacks.Nets filled with Bloody bones and flesh.That is what they ARE!You are just blind and cant even see that.

TBH the new patch is good and most of the stuff it added to the crafting system is very nice... The new doors are especially a welcome addition and most of the new signs are pretty cool.

As for the abstract paintings, I'm not really a fan of "abstract" art but maybe they appeal to others.

But I still don't like the totem (scrotum) poles. If it was possible to store stuff inside of them like those Super Mutant meatbags, then maybe that would be acceptable. I tried putting some in my town, but they're just ugly looking.

I have to agree. There are way more useful things that could have been put into the workshop list than Super Mutant junk poles. :)

Its a free unplanned update, there are a ton of features round the corner for this month.
