I have zero lag with an 970 extreme, 8 core with an SSD, and 8mb of very fast ram...the rest of these mopes just dont know how to build or optimize.
+1 to this
Liar. Post a video of you running around Fanueil Hall with the FPS Counter visible and set to a 0.1 Seconds refresh. All on Ultra, especially the Shadow Distance.
ultimate is best...... if you set a $$$$ limit it would be different...
5960x
128GB ram
2x intel 750 PCi-e ssd's in raid
4x titanx's
all watercooled.......
simple
if it was to a price point that would be different...
I run a4970k @ 4.7ghz
32GB DDR3
2x sli 780ti's
and run my games off a 1tb samsung 840 evo
i play at 1440p and it ran the game well (i havent played since november)
The key would be to stay away from AMD products, Nvidia and Intel seem to be best suited for this game.
i7-5930k @ 4.5 ghz
2 Zotac Amped Extreme 980 ti in SLI @ 1400mhz
1 tb 850 Samsung evo SSD
Asus x99 pro usb 3.1 motherboard
Corsair vengeance LPX 3200 mhz DDR 4 16gigs Ram
Corsair HX1200i PSU
Corsair AIO Gtx 110 liquid cooler.
Windows 10
Runs the game maxed out 60fps @ 1440p.
I am playing at 720p, 60 Herz, 2 screens, native res 1366x768. I play my games on one screen and usually stream sporting events, netflix or PressTv on the other, at the same time. Sometimes up to 4 sporting events at once.
My fps is a constant 59-61. If it's dipping under 59, I don't notice it.
Gigabyte UDH5 z77 motherboard
i7 3770k oc'd to 4.6
2x EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SC's (no SLI while playing F4)
8 gigs RAM (I want more, but no urgency yet)
Corsair 650 watt psu
I have a couple of ssd's for a total of 1 tb
I play on ingame settings, high, godrays low, hbao off, weapon debris off, all the sliders in advanced options are set about midrange.
I have no issues with overheating. my pc is completely air cooled.
edit: Forgot to mention that when I let F4 set my graphics...it went ultra. Game play wasn't that great, got a lot of stutter.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. I've played computer games since, well, the beginning of computers. The top AAA games are ment to last for a couple of years. I'm surprised that in the case of F4 you can even make a home system that will play it in ultra. Previous years,( most people playing this game were still in diapers ), when a AAA game was marketed it took about 1+ years for the next generation cpu and gpu to be marketed before you could even think of getting the settings beyond medium. This generation that grew up with computers needs to put their collective feelings of entitlement aside and figure it out (but then again with the type of complaints I read on here I don't hold out much hope for that). This is all marketing to get you to buy the next biggest and bestest cpu and gpu in order to get the best graphics. You aren't ment to be able to run F4 wide open for at least another year. So GET OVER IT FOR CRIPES SAKE ! You aren't going to get it to run full ultra and stutter free until the next generation of graphic cards. (then you can drop another $1k and probably still complain its not perfect)
Rant off.
This key is not true, one of my boxes is all AMD and it runs FO4 just fine with ultra everything in 4k. Not a hiccup. 4.3GHz 16GB R9 290 4GB
