Settlement Keywords/Homemaker mod issue?
So I installed the homemaker mod and found it useful, so I decided to expand my settlement with the 'alternate settlement' mod, which requires the 'Settlement Keywords' mod.

So I installed them but now I cant find the institute walls/floors...they had their own section under Homemaker but now i cant find them

Does this help?
From the homemaker nexus page.

Missing Institute items - Unless coupled with the missing categories issue, this is not necessarily a bug, more of a misunderstanding. The Institute items and build sets only unlock while you are a member of the Institute, and you will lose access if you are no longer a member of the faction. To gain access to the items without being a member, use the Unlocked Institute Objects patch in the files section, or type "player.addtofaction 5E558 1" (no quotes) in the console (~) to add yourself to the Institute faction. Type "player.removefromfaction 5E558" to remove yourself from it when done.
^^That, and they've been sorted under metal now when you run Settlement Keywords.

hmm, my chracter is part of the institute, but I tried that command as well, still nothing under the metal section.

The parts were there before I added the SK and AS mods as i was experimenting with them, and was even able to use them on a newer character who hadnt even been to the institute.

I may have to uninstall the other 2 mods if i cant work this out

So I took those 2 mods out and its back to how it was, its not too bad, I couldnt get the wallpaper to work...kept saying to attach to an interior wall but i couldnt find the correct wall, the wallpaper wouldnt snap to the wall.

I think I prefer the clean, white walls of the institute anyway...plus once the mod kit arrives all these mods should be much simpler to use.

Homemaker wont change. That is the point of settlement keywords is to organize item types into catagories to avoid conflict.

So basically CK or not as long as you are using the Settlement keyword versions the layout in the build menu will be the same.

I personally am not a fan of how SK is laid out, but it definetly is a good idea.

i dont think Homemaker is the issue, it was one of the other mods, probably SK, that made the institute parts vanish.

TBH just checked my load order.
Settlement Keywords
Homemaker
...
...
Alternate Settlements
...
...
Homemaker Institute parts
And I got all the other settlement mods still working nicely too (though yea, those damn wallpapers don't really work at all ;/)

I had an issue with items not showing in my menu, but it was related to having other mods installed that the homemaker mod maker said conflict. Specifically Settlement Supplies Expanded and working food planters. I removed those both and my menu gave me all options.
