Constant clicking noise problem.
Anyone else having the constant clicking sound? I get it all the time and the devs have ignored my request for help for over a month! It stops only when my character goes to any workbench type and then leaves, but starts again after moving a few feet away from the workbench.

VERY IRRRRITATING....

Really... This is more confusing than the other responses...

ever see in the game when some object gets caught between a wall and some other wall or object and it kinda freaks out ? that's the physics going nuts cause it cant complete the movement or whatever . could be a mirluke is stuck in a wall , something along those lines .
resetting the cell usually fixes stuff like that
just go indoors , make a save , exit game , start game , sleep 3-4 days , save . load the new save and then the cell is reset and all should be good .
if it's not then you have a mod installed that broke

you are probably hearing the radiatioin btw. when you get into a radiation zone you will hear ticks to tell you that you are in radiation, it's a function on your pip boy that will let you know by ticking that you are taking rad damage.

Nope, Sorry that is a different sound. I have traversed that one before...

But all together it sounds like the initial partial click sound you hear when you click "E" to work at a workbench, then it cuts out super quickly and runs continuosly.

I have actually started a new game so this point wil be mute I hope.....

Thanks though..

i know what you mean. some times sounds will glitche and keep playing all the time. the best way to stop this is to mute them using mods

here are some mods i use

Adjustable UI Volume Sliders.

This is an old post, but I had the same problem. Tried sending all npcs away, and it was me that was clicking. What fixed it was using a modded work bench, like armor smith, it went away after I made some power armer and exited.
