You can't Recharge it, You have to find more fusion cores.

You have to find a fusion core in the world, or buy one. WHenever you see the generators like in the concord museum where you first get the stuff.
THere's a core in the super-duper mart basement-area for sure, as well as in many other places. YOu can also buy them for high prices at goodneighbor and diamond city.

If your inside it HOLD 'E' to eject your self from your powerarmor
then when looking at the suit press 'R' to trade it remove the used Fusion core
(ALWAYS remove the core if your not using the suit) it's a risk someone will steal it otherwise

when you want to use a powerarmor press R and trade a fusion core with it and then enter it by pressing 'E'

If your new to the game use the powerarmor sparsly you don't need it. (except the first one where you get it) for a very very long time.

Powerarmor is expensive to use in the begining and your most likely to get your suite out of juice in the middle of noware.

There is a ton of fusion cores around the map
i think i never bought one and still got 62 Cores at 100% in my inventory and im using my powerarmor for harder areas.

basically at every location in the game - their is almost 1 or 2 fusion cores.........

normally in a generator - keep an eye out for those their big loud and yellow / gray

or in random loot boxes guarded by strong raiders or other strong enemies

you can also find or buy fusions cores

sometimes in other random left over power armors in game you can loot power cores

If you have a fusion core in your inventory it will replace automatically.

Yeah, this, but also something that a lot of people don't realize is that you can use a Fusion Core until it's down to a minimal amount of energy and then manually take it out - the next time you get to a trader or do any kind of shopping, you can sell that all but depleted Fusion Core for the same price that you would get if it were brand new. If your charisma and trading is nice and high like mine is, I can sell a used up core for 160 caps, while buying a brand new one is only 250. That's a great return on your investment. High end weapons shops you place in your settlement will also regularly stock 3-4 Fusion Cores every time you visit.
