getting ready for "Far Harbor"

Being from Maine I thought I would share some funny stuff.

Everyone knows what a redneck is. We are NOT "rednecks" but it's a comparable subcultre. We have a regional dielect that would make any grammar nazi want to commit hari-cari.

"O'Chang Comics" creators of "Temp Tales"

I have no reason to beleive Bethesda reached out to these people but for past couple years a guy an his wife have been puttin out these cartoon shorts. It's inspired by real life events of the creator getting hooked up with jobs in maine through a temp agency. If Bethesda got a voice actor that sounds like these guys, it's gonna be hilarious.

I dont know how to explain it perfectly but the stuff said in those cartoons is stuff that real mainiacs say/hear over the course of a year all squeezed into 5-10mins of funny. The cartoon is true to life but a lil more extreme than reality. The caracters remind me of many real people I know, including myself.


Ok I thought about posting this next part. I'm not a real troll, but I do like to make a sarcastic comment on a thread or two. People think its trolling somtimes but genuinely I don't care about reactions.

If you are a troll an want to have some fun, go on any "Maine" themed website with forums. Pretend you are from Massachusetts. We jus lost most of our snow past couple days, so the snomobile club members we be online this weekend. I really hope Bethesda touched on the fake tension between Maine/Massachusetts.

Oh an I almost forgot. Everyone in Maine under the age of 60 thinks Tim Sample is ♥♥♥♥in dumb.

I guess fans have identified the backgrouund buildings in the dlc announcement. It's seems like it was a big thing for new vegas/boston area players to post pics of the real life locations when those games came out. I'm checkin out places on google street view later. Some guesses for locations we mght see are...

Cadilac Mountain

Acadia National Park. probably more bears an radstag, moose would be cool though.

I don't know where they are yet but theres a bunch of bat caves.

Northwest Harbor. There's a nice pier a village over there.

Martha Stewarts Mansion an gardens. (tons of prewar cash)

Rockefeller Mansion ... the son of oil tycoon Rockefeller an a couple other comparably powerful families own land on Mount Desert. (tons of prewar cash)

Most of downtown Bar Harbor should be accurate really. It's very small.

Yeh thats boston, but idk those are actors tryin to imitate a boston accent. The longer haired one really sounds like a downeastah couple times.

I'm so hyped about frigin Far Harbor I don't even want to talk about it anymore lol.

Caught myself at 2 a.m the other night. my feet hurt after about 2 hours standing in the garage, using Google Earth, street/birds eye views.

I guess I might have a back up plan come red tide or flood water clam closer this summah. With my newly gained knoledge of the Island I could do guided tours for the handful of college kids that get dragged along in on the cruise ships. Take a buzz around the island with the boat.
See a few fallout4 locations, shoot a couple mutants, an a dethclaw. End her with a pit fire an beers.
