Brotherhood of Steel is attacking me. Please help!
I just joined the institute while I still had some sidequests to do for the Brotherhood. Nothing too bad happened doing that, with the exception of Paladin Danse disliking this action. I attack Bunker Hill because Father had told me to destroy the Railroad operatives in that area, and reclaim rogue synths. Synths fought alongside me, killing the Railroad, but the Brotherhood of Steel is killing the synths. They persist to do this, even to a courser that I must stick around with, until I force myself to kill them. They did not retaliate when I harmed them for some reason. I finish the job, then I come out of Bunker Hill. And, surprise! The Brotherhood of Steel is hostile, even Paladin Danse! So, ever since this incident, I have been attacked by Vertibirds.
I know this sounds like a dramatic story, but I was trying to be specific as possible. If anyone can help me in this matter, your time would be very much obliged. Thank you!

You can complete bunker hill without annoying anyone. If you are allied with institute, railroad and brotherhood you can just walk into the bunker, (only turrets are angry, ignore them) go to the 4 goals, kill the synth agent and release the prisoner.

After that Father is a bit mad about you but doesn't matter the storyline of the institute proceed without problems and railroad, brotherhood are still your friends.

But shortly after the bunker hill quest all factions start to give you the 2 last quests to destroy the other faction so you just have to stop after the bunker hill quest to do main quests for the factions.

Ha ha ha ha! That was funny! I guess you just missed my point then... the BOS was friendly when I was attacking them (I was attacking them because they were attacking a friendly synth courser, nearly compromising the sidequest), but, now, they are out to hurt me. Also, please acknowledge the fact that I f*cked up the storyline pretty bad for the time I was being attacked by the BOS at Bunker Hill. I panicked so much... 'lol'
Thanks

If you don't want the BoS to become hostile to you then don't kill their troops and don't join the Institute or the Railroad.

Thank you very much for the help! I have completed Bunker Hill and I am ready to report to Father. Just have to watch my back for men encased in steel!
Thanks

In reality, the BOS should not become totally hostile until the quest MASS FUSION. If the BOS is hostile to you right now, it's likely because they're still actively attacking you as just a murderer, which they should forget about in around 7 game days.

Note that if you kill the Courser in The Battle for Bunker Hill as a Railroad Double Agent, you will experience a similar effect with the Institute. All the scientists will attack you on sight, even if Father doesn't revoke your access to The Institute. Wait around seven game days and everything should be fine.

Alright... maybe I should have learned that later...
Thanks

I should stress, this is from my experience on the PS4 version. Don't know if it'll carry to the PC version, which I haven't played that far into yet (My peasant eyes melt at HBAO+ so I have to take frequent breaks)

Take the old Sierra motto into account here. Save Early, Save Often.

I should have noted in the discussion information that I play on the Xbox One. I will consider your suggestion. But I must let you know that I almost never save my game, I only quicksave my progress. Would it be a problem for you if you explain to me how the save feature works? It would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Menu -> Save Game -> New Slot.

Using only the quicksave is like the best way to ensure you'll have a bad time in Fallout 4.

So, it's like putting all of your progress into one huge save file? I'm pretty new to this, so, sorry if I'm asking too many questions.
Thanks

I'm assuming the save system works almost identical to the PS4 and PC (why wouldn't it?) but how it works is:

Each Character has a "Folder" that holds all the saves made as that character. On the Title screen you can browse your character list with some button command (Prolly Y) but it defaults to the most recent.

While playing the game, any saves made in the Pause Menu (Not the Pip Boy) will be made in the character folder. This includes the Autosaves (there should be 3) the quicksave (There will be 1) and then any Hard Saves you make (Hard Saves use the "Save" function in the pause menu)

You want to make Hard Saves whenever possible, within reason. I like to Hard Save around once every 6 gameplay hours, though you can make it unweildy to find your saves if you keep ALL of them. I recommend holding onto around 10 hard saves in addition to the 3 auto saves that will always update, and then the one quicksave. But you can have as many Hard Saves as you want up to your hard drive limit. (In the end if you filled up your HDD with hard saves, it'd be something like 600,000 individual saves)

Thanks alot! So, I'm to believe that hard saves are saved onto your Fallout: 4 disc?
Thanks

No, they're saved on the internal storage of the console (The Hard Disc Drive that the Xbox One has)

I'm trying real hard not to take my 20+ Years of technical knowledge for granted here!
