Can't find other Behemoth types?
Hi guys. I've been playing Fallout 4 for a while, but I've run into a weird problem - I can't find any Behemoth variants. My main character is level 76, and has never seen a Glowing, Epic or Ancient Behemoth, even though I know where a few continuously spawn. Is there any reason for this?

I am playing on Normal Difficulty for now, if that makes any difference. But it shouldn't, should it? I am finding Albino Deathclaws, Charred Feral Ghouls and the like - why can't I find stronger Behemoths?

Try survival mode.

I started finding epics at level 89+
I found my first glowing at 82
I haven't found any ancients yet. But I don't hunt for them.

Okay. Thanks for the levels you started finding them at! :)

From what I've seen, the stronger behemoths can only spawn in set locations. There are two spots I know of that only spawn the weaker, base behemoth, even at my current level, which is in the mid 100's. It's possible you haven't reached any of the locations where the stronger behemoths are allowed to spawn instead.

One location that spawns stronger behemoths for me is a little behind the Med-Tek Research building located at Malden. I think you have to get close to a chem box and a deceased ghoul to trigger it. Try there if you haven't already.

FYI, I am at level 94 now and I still run into vanilla behemoths on survival mode, so I really think it's luck of the draw, here's some spots I know they spawn:

1) Far top west of the glowing sea, theres a motel and small area (next to the collapsed police station)
If you go pas the motel and up the hill, you will see a power station that isn't marked on your map, you will probably hear the beheomoth fighting deathclaws before you see it.
Also that is deathclaw country, bring powerful weapons. This seems to be a 100% reliable spawn.

2) Recon bunker theta
Bunker at the middle top of the map where the remaining brotherhood search team member is hiding out, a behemoth normally spawns outside. This seems to be a random encounter.

3) Hyde park
Next to the park there is a church, beyond that is gunner's plaza.
The behemoth spawns in the marsh between the church and the plaza. This is a 100% reliable respawn, the highest level behemoths I have killed were here, there is your best bet.

4) Lexington
Around level 40 or so, a behemoth will spawn in Lexigton and kill most of the ghouls. I don't know if this respawns but it's the easiest of the bunch to kill since you can use rooftops to your advantage.

I've had an ancient spawn as low as 34... but I think that was a bug? I've never been able to get anything but standard Behemoths to spawn since then and my highest character is 74.
