Looking for .50 ammo?

So I recently came across Leonard Moore. Or should I say bothered talking to him. Well after running around all the Commonwealth to replenish .50 caliber ammo I felt dumb.

For some reason he has double the bullets the reset of the vendors do. Most the other vendors average 10-40 ammo per shop reset. His restock is 60-80 bullets. You cna quickly see where this is headed, lol.

So for those of you that do not know his location, go to Coastal Cottage, then run south towards the radiation marker (Hugo's Hole.)

He also seemed to have a large supply of other bullet types.

Best little scrap shop in the commonwealth. I always forget about him, tucked way out in the boonies like he is.

Eleanor's another high-volume ammunition merchant, if you need one. She's a bit northwest of Fairline Hill Estates.

Yeah for a while it was liek every couple hours iI spent killign stuff it required about an hour chasing vendors across the Commonwealth just to restock enough .50 caliber ammo.

Why bother, the 308 does more damage, and can be semi automatic, unlike the .50 cal. I never found .50 cal useful.

Let me guess the Overseer Legendary...... Had to be one of the most OP legendary weapons made and it sucked all the challenge out of the game.

Ya, that was a good tip. I never paid attention to her ammo counts before. She had 122 .50 caliber ammo when I visited her.

Don't know what you are referring to, I had Plasma Gauss rifle, and Wounding Gatling Gun, either one would kill anything with a headshot in stealth.

Well I blew them off because the the one west of Ranger place near Abernathy never reset. The cat guy kinda sucked in general, the one behind hangmans alley and the one near the gunners overpass never really seemed to have much.

Whatever, your posts have nothing to do with the actual topic anyways. We were discussing where to find ammo, not which is better.

Man, I wish there was a dedicated .50 rifle in this game instead of just being a conversion mod for the hunting rifle. I've got so many .50 rounds I don't even bother spending since the hunting rifle is obsolete now. Would be nice to see a semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle to help spend it all on, or just give us a hand-held M2 MG.
