Fatman and AI.

Why does the AI use a fatman at point blank in close quarters. What kind if terrible AI code was put in to think this was a good idea. Just no bethesda. I guess we have to wait till the community can fix your mistakes.

9/10 there in power armor, secondly they do it for the same reason the Super Mutant Jihad runs into you with a mini nuke.

Why did Bethesda link Physics time directly to FRAMECOUNT and not have an Equation for setting time in preset ways ?

Well it seems i HAVE to use power armor otherwise i'm just gonna get face nuked all the time. Besides i like power armor could i like being in a thick mechanical shell.

Raiders/Gunners/Supermutants all have a single mind-set; "Kill the enemy even at the cost of my own life."

Why else would they fire a nuke at close range or run at you with a pool-cue when you are shooting them from 300 yards with armor piercing rounds?

one time in fallout 3 a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ raider took the fire lancer so many load attempts later i finally killed him with 1 last shot then out of ammo tis was right after i left megaton

I've only actually seen them launch at me twice, and usually it's from a catwalk at long range.

I had this issue yesterday with Captain Bridget.

Too far away uses nukes, get medium rnage uses a nomrla weapon, get too close and switches to use it as a melee weapon.

I agree the AI needs a lot of work.. Example; minute men use grenades at close quarters all the time and hit their general as well as themselves. They are their own worst enemy.
