What is the point of having a jetpack? It's awful! It only lasts for about two seconds before the AP completely drains. Is there no way to have sustained flight? I tried a mod that's supposed to lower the drain, but it didn't work

open console type "tgm" that will remove the action point cost so you can have fun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around, but remember you basically a walking tank so you can only go so high before weight will eventually drag you down slowly untill you hit the ground.

Sustained flight would be too OP, you could break so many quests

You are not meant to fly with it, but jump higher.
You can now stomp, reach any roof you want, escape some fights even and other more tatics.

Also, don't hold space! Press it repeatedly but don't hold!

If you tap shift and fly right, you can sprint while flying, I use that to cross lakes fast.

Pulse it, don't hold it down continuously.

Yep, also use PA mods/chems or food/perks which improve AP regen, and it seems to last longer as well...

Go to Diamond city and find their safehouse. It's on top of the stadium and you can get there using the jetpack. Also, you can mod your armor for that explosive drop damage thing.

look for more than 1 ap drain and fusion core drain mod and test them.
look for the jetpack wedding ring mod. (gives you the jetpack ability without using the pa).
look for the no height limit mod.

thats 9 different power thrust outputs.
make each 1 into a txt file and call them something simple.

these power outputs also work for the regular jetpack.

invest in a least 3 or 4 pieces of no fall damage armor.
pick up armor piece.
open console.
click on armor piece
type
amod 93bbd

add this to the top of your ini.

1.85 is default gravity, so 0.05 is Very light.
edit it to want you want.
you dont have to use this ini string but its good to at least have it if you want it.

It's more of a jump pack than a jetpack. I wish they named it as such. With that said, it's extremely OP. You can skip tons of interior doors, find secret areas you're not intended to reach normally, and generally have a lot of fun with it.

Most of them are to high the jetpack normally does not allow you to go that high. It is more meant to get on the roofs of shorter buildings and stuff.

try my thrust bat files and the mods i mentioned.
you can hover inches above the road surface or water.
or fly sky high and explore the games highest peaks. both highways and skyscrapers.

the wedding ring mod gives me flaming jet boots flight without the jetpack pa.
but it still works with the normal jetpack.

you might want this code if you love jetpacks.

If you can find another way up, the jet pack will allow you to run the length of most highways by giving you the ability to jump over most gaps...

There is however not alot up there, unfortunately...
