Taken For a Ride bug??

Hello FO 4 experts.
Small problem. I get just outside the door to start fighting Overboss Colton. He starts intro, then we all just stand there. Me locked in, him wandering about.
Any suggestions?
(I'm not very good with the whole console commanding. If you know how to advance the quest, please, I implore you, be specific.)
Help me and I will name my firstborn after you.

100 Enter Nuka-World

200 Survive the Gauntlet A man named Porter Gage spoke to me over the Nuka-Express speaker system. He told me I was heading into a death trap, but he has an offer for me should I survive.

300 Enter the Locker Room I survived the bulk of the Gauntlet. It looks like I have one more fight ahead of me. At least these Raiders are giving me a chance to restock in a locker room before I face off against this Overboss.

400 Use the Intercom As I entered the locker room to prepare for my final battle, Gage's voice came over the intercom. I should speak to him and find out what he wants.

500 Find the weapon Gage explained that the upcoming fight against the Overboss Colter is rigged, but he's left a "secret weapon" I can use to defeat him in the arena. I need to find it somewhere in the locker room.

550 Use the Intercom to speak to Gage I found what looks to be a squirt gun called the Thirst Zapper in the locker room. This must be the "secret weapon" that Gage was talking about. There must be more to this.

600 Enter the Cola-Cars Arena Gage told me the Thirst Zapper will short out Overboss Colter's electrified Power Armor. I'll need to use it if I'm going to be able to do any damage to him at all. Now, it's time to enter the Cola-Cars arena and finish this.

700 Defeat Overboss Colter I need to defeat Overboss Colter in the Cola-Cars Arena to beat the Gauntlet and get out of here. In order to take him down, I'll have to use the Thirst Zapper first to make him vulnerable.

750 Use the Thirst Zapper

800 Speak to Gage I defeated Overboss Colter. The Thirst Zapper worked. Now I need to speak to Gage to find out what kind of offer he has in mind.

1000 Quest finished Quest complete

You have to grab the gun. No, it is not the Gatling gun, but it is near it and to the left in an open locker. You may have to crouch to get it. It literally looks like a piece of garbage.
