The Creation Club is being managed by Bethesda. That you have the game on Steam is not relevant here. If there are problems with Creation Club, you have to deal with Bethesda, not Valve (the company behind Steam)

You need to add more information if you want to have some community support because there are various reasons why it might not download

You don't have to ventilate on me. If you are still angry with a problem - of which you aren't informative enough - please deal it with the support. But pick the right support system because one might point to the other if the problem is not theirs.

1) the game has to be updated to the latest version

2) Steam only forwards the money to bethesda with information about what creation club credits package you purchased they do not handle the CC mod installation or actual addition of CC credits to the account.

3) You have to have linked the bethesda and steam accounts in some way so they know who's bethesda account to give the credit purchase to and LOG IN via the game to bethesda to use the in game CC menu.

4) If the problem is a mod failing to install from the CC purchase menu after the install button is used Bethesda support needs contacted as steam does not control bethesda's CC mod instalations or purchases these are done by bethesda through the in game menu if it is the Credits not showing up in your bethesda account on the CC after you bought them through steam start with steam support.

for clearer information on the CC

and btw in the UK the seller is at fault if they sell under false pretence not the supplier

It sounds to me like, from your post, the credits were added to your Bethesda account but the Creation Club content you bought was never installed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I had the same thing happen before and was super confused, until I realized you need to go back into the menu after purchasing CC content and manually install each pack. It doesn't do it automatically. Seems like an oversight on Bethesda's part.

If the problem is that the credits were never added to your Bethesda account, then, like the others said, you'll need to go through Bethesda. I had issues with linking my Steam and Bethesda accounts, but they were able to fix it in about a day. It's always worth a shot to reach out to the support team.

Which creation did you try to purchase? Perhaps there is a known issue going on with a specific product.
imagine actually paying for these mediocre mods

The fact that people are still paying money for mods, is why it never got shut down like paid mods for skyrim got shut down. Sure there's stuff on there I like, and would like, but I'm going to wait for it to be free, I haven't even used my free 100 credits.

they works exactly like mods and there's other means to get these files than using their store

I asked above, but didn't get reply yet.

What exactly you tried to buy from CC?

Steam only sells credits to Creation Club. They have no connection to creations themselves.

Didn't you get credits you bought with real money? (Which would likely be Steam issue, because they act as a storefront..)

Or didn't you get creation you try to purchase with credits? (Which would be Bethesda's problem, because they handle the Creation Club store.)

Judging from your OP, you tried to purchase something with credits from Creation Club. It is very likely that it is Bethesda's problem to deal with. Steam does not manage that store at all. They only sell credits for it. All creations (save from archives from initial release) come directly from Bethesda's front.

Im not even sure if you can refund in game transaction credits, let alone get a refund after you have spend them
